Robert Lee Vaughan, 58, was found dead on Monday, October 26, 1992. Bob had served in the U.S, Army and graduated from Wichita State University with a degree in business/math. He was working as a management price analyst for the U.S. Department of Defense at the time of his death
Survivors include his wife, Margaret E.; a son, Michael Corley of Jacksonville, Florida; daughters, Lisa Chambers of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Kristi Short of St. Louis, Missouri; stepsons, Jordan Clark of the home and David Clark of Wichita; a stepdaughter, Laura Garrison of Wichita; brothers, Haywood C. Vaughan of Santa Rosa, California and Frederick R. Vaughan of Wichita; sisters Leota I. Decarsky and Karen A. Reynolds, both of Wichita, Patricia L. Zink of Leavenworth, Kansas, Delores J. Politte of Denver. Colorado; one grandchild and one step grandchild.
Arrangements by Quiring-Old Mission Mortuary.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
A memorial has been established with the St. Anne's School.
