On October 1, 1960 she married Harold Dean Fevurly, Sr. (LHS Class of 1952) at the Calvary Baptist Church in Leavenworth. Karen was a second grade elementary school teacher at Bradley Elementary in Ft. Leavenworth, KS for 20 years before retiring in 1998.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold D. Fevurly, Sr. and her brother William Culp.
Karen is survived by one daughter, Alisha McAnelly and husband, Je’Tawn and their sons, Colton, Aidan Guy, Aidan JeTawn and Asten and daughter Liran, Leavenworth; two sons, Harold D. Fevurly, Jr. and wife, Susan and their daughter, Ena, Leavenworth and Thomas Guy Fevurly and wife Cheryl and their sons, Zackary and Tyler, Ohio; Tom’s daughter Alyssa of Leavenworth; and great granddaughter Ainsley. She is also survived by a sister, Phyllis Hacker, Indiana, and brothers Kenneth Culp, Timothy Culp, Indiana and James Culp, West Virginia.
Special friends grew to be known as her children. They are Carrie Stuart and her daughter, Riley, Amy McCullough, Damien Eagle and Jenny Garcia, all of Leavenworth.
Visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, December 27, 2011, 11:00 A.M to 1:00 P.M with services immediately following at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be in the Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Harold Dean Fevurly Sr., 70, Leavenworth, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004, in Leavenworth.
He was born Dec. 20, 1933, in Easton, the son of Guy and Velma Neal Fevurly. On Oct. 1, 1960, he married Karen Claudine Culp at the Calvary Baptist Church in Leavenworth.
Harold worked as a maintenance supervisor at the Lansing Correctional Facility. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958.
Harold is survived by his wife, Karen Claudine Fevurly, of the home; one daughter, Alisha Criswell and husband, Scott, and their son, Colton, Leavenworth; two sons, Harold D. Fevurly Jr. and wife, Susan, and their daughter, Ena, Leavenworth, and Thomas Guy Fevurly, and wife, Cheryl, and their sons, Zackary and Tyler, Ohio; Tom's daughter Alyssa, of Leavenworth. Harold was anticipating the birth of Alisha's second son, Aidan, in April.
Special friends grew to be known as his children. They are Carrie Stuart and her daughter, Riley, Amy McCullough, Tiffany Buss, and Jenny Garcia with her husband, Tony, and their children Adam and Abigail, all of Leavenworth. He is also survived by a sister, Twila Meyer, Grandview, Mo.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, at the Davis Funeral Chapel, 531 Shawnee St., Leavenworth. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, at the Davis Funeral Chapel. Chaplain Jack Divine will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery.
