Norman Aaron Hund, 74, of Leavenworth, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, at Medicalodge of Leavenworth.
He was born July 4, 1932, in Leavenworth, the son of John Aaron and Anna E. (Fellman) Hund. He graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1949. Norman loved fishing, playing tennis, and he was an avid bowler who also enjoyed watching basketball. He was a past member of Happy Hollow 4-H Club.
Norman is survived by his siblings, Mary Alice Heim of Leavenworth, Dorothy J. Hund of Oakland, Calif., Anna Marie Todd of Leavenworth and Patricia L. Schwinn of Leavenworth; and a sister in-law, Elaine Hund of Leavenworth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John M. Hund.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home.
The rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. David McEvoy, O.Carm., as celebrant.
