Arline K. Trusty, of Lansing, passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008.
Arline was born Oct. 15, 1930, in Leavenworth, the daughter of Charles and Dorthy Varner Pugh. She was later adopted by her stepfather, William Mortsolf.
Arline attended area schools and graduated from Leavenworth High School. She belonged to the Lady’s Auxiliary of VFW Post 54 No. 1.
She was married to Tom Trusty in 1966. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1990.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son; a sister; a nephew; a granddaughter; and two great-grandsons.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Archibald and husband Doug and Angela Queen; one stepdaughter, Connie Trusty; one stepson, Joseph Trusty; one half-brother, William Mortsolf; one sister, Mamie Brown; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at the Davis Funeral Chapel, 531 Shawnee St. in Leavenworth.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, at the Leavenworth National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be given to St. Luke’s Hospice of Leavenworth, P.O. Box 504102, St. Louis, MO 63150-4102.
