Babs' Bulletin

FEBRUARY NEWSLETTER - 2OO9

TO: CLASSMATES AND SPOUSES OF THE LHS CLASS OF 1952

Change... Bailout... Change... Stimulus... Change... We will remember these words from 2008. Already, one commentator has said, "2008 will be studied in the history books."
It was a memorable year for Albert and me too. We became great grandparents last August. Our granddaughter and her husband adopted the foster baby they had been caring for since he was 3 months old. Andrew (Drew) Ray Johnson is now 1 1/2 years old and we love and adore him.
To add to our (my) great 2008, 1 had my first hole-in-one last October, while playing with Albert and friends at the Rolling Hills Country Club at the lake. I had been thinking of retiring from the game, but now I think I'll give it another year or two!

As income tax becomes every American's focus between now and April 15, have you ever noticed???
