Robert E. Green, Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Leavenworth, 69, passed away Friday, October 16, 2009.Robert was born July 25, 1940 in Leavenworth the son of Arthur Green and Dorothy (Green) Fleming.
On June 15, 1968 he married Brenda J. Sidney (LHS Class of 1963). She survives him.
Robert is also survived by one son Kenneth D. Green, two daughters Margo O. Watie and Tanisha L. Green, his mother Dorothy Fleming, four brothers James, Leonard, Arthur and Steven, one sister Barbara Douglas, and a host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Green and brother Ronald Green.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Friday, October 23, 2009 at the Davis Funeral Chapel.
Home Going Service will begin at 12:00 P.M. Friday, October 23 at the funeral chapel.
Burial will follow with full Military Honors at the Leavenworth National Cemetery.
