She was born May 26, 1935 to Horace E. and Alma Parsons in Leavenworth, Kansas.
Margaret married William J. Smith on March 6, 1954 in Racine, WI. He preceded her in death on May 25, 2008.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother Horace Parsons, Jr.
She is survived by her four daughters Rita (David) Cowen, Pottsboro, TX, Jane (Bijan) Tammehr, Olathe, KS, Nancy Eveland and Janet (David) Young of Leavenworth, KS, 17 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She enjoyed swimming, sewing, knitting and playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, February 26, 2010 at the Davis Funeral Chapel.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the Davis Funeral Chapel.
Burial will follow at Mt. Muncie Cemetery.
