Robert L. Sanderson

Our beloved Poppo, the Sanderson Patriarch of 80 years, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Friday, August 12, 2011.
Born to Benjamin and Margaret Sanderson in Silver Lake, Kansas on September 27, 1930. He was the youngest of 5. He met and married his devoted wife, Cynthia Johnson Sanderson (LHS Class of 1959)  in Leavenworth, Kansas. Bob was a self employed business owner for the majority of his adult life. Owner locally of Sanderson Auto Body until moving to Sierra Vista in 1988. Where he was employed with Newtech Industries. Bob was an avid NASCAR fan of Jeff Gordon's.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Cynthia, daughters Tracy Lafferty and Chanan Harr, son Robert Sanderson, &  eldest sister Anna Lou Jackson. His grandchildren include  Lee Dodson, Lauren Sanderson, Jessica Marcyes, Amber Sanderson, Amanda Marcyes, Cyndi & Nick Harr. His great grandchildren include Michael, Gracie, Khannar, Nevaeh, and one in the oven.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin & Margaret Sanderson, sister Margaret Segrist,  brothers Laurence & Benjamin Sanderson.
We all will miss you  Poppo. We love you with all our hearts. May the angels keep you in their blessed sight.
Family and friends are welcome and invited to celebrate his life on August 20, 2011 at 10:00 am, at Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic church located at 1425 E Yaqui St, Sierra Vista, Az.
