Dale Joseph Noll, 74, of Basehor, Kan., died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at his home. He was born on Sept. 22, 1939, in Winchester, Kan., the son of Henry J. and Margaret D. (Navinsky) Noll.
He attended St. Joseph Elementary School and graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1957.
On Oct. 22, 1966, Dale married Gayle Glessner. She survives at the home. He is also survived by two sons, Dale (Ellen) Noll Jr. and Todd (Jennifer) Noll; a daughter, Shalese (Brian) Lindsay; two sisters, Eileen (Eugene) Kramer (LHS Class of 1950) and Alvera Olson (LHS Class of 1951); a brother, Vernon (Pat) Noll (LHS Class of 1957); seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Donald Noll.
Dale worked at Kaaz Woodworking Company for 10 years. He also worked at the United States Penitentiary Woodworking Industry for 27 years retiring from there in 1995. He was a lifelong member of the Immaculate Conception-St. Joseph Parish. Dale enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting activities throughout the years.
Visitation beginning with the Rosary will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Joseph Church. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery on Rogers Road. Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception-St. Joseph Parish.
