Patricia Mae Fanty - LHS Class of 1956

Patricia Mae Fanty, formerly of Leavenworth, passed away November 5, 2014 in Katy, Texas surrounded by her family. 
She was born December 14, 1937 to Leslie and Florence (Merle) Drown and married Paul John Fanty (LHS Class of 1954) on March 9, 1955. 
Patricia worked for many years as the fashion department manager at Montgomery Wards and then in furniture sales. 
She was preceded in death by Paul, her husband of 58 years. She is survived by her sons Mark and Scott, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held Nov 15, 2014 at Mount Muncie Cemetery, Lansing, Kansas.

Paul John Fanty, born in 1936, passed away January 19, 2014 after a long illness. He graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1954 then joined the Air Force and spent four years in England. He was the manager of Public Finance for years. He is survived by his wife, Patrica Drown Fanty (LHS Class of 1956), his sons Mark and Scott, four granddaughters Alyssa, Lauren, Emily, and Kelly, and two great-granddaughters Brinna and Layla. Services may be held in the Spring in Leavenworth.
