Mary Shore Fevurly - LHS Class of 1959

Mary Jo Fevurly was born Mary Jo Shore on July 30, 1941. She entered Heaven's gates on Monday, May 4, 2015 from her home in Leavenworth, Kansas. 
Mary will be remembered as a consummate and selfless mother, grandmother and loving friend. She had a quiet strength and always looked for a brighter future for all. Mary had an unwavering faith in the Lord. She was a member of St. Casimir Parish in Leavenworth. Over the years she became very active with the church. She volunteered and assisted with numerous functions and fundraising events. 
Mary was preceded in death by her lifelong friend and parenting partner Larry V. Fevurly and her parents Carl and Charlotte Shore all lifelong residents of Leavenworth, KS. 
She is survived by her sons; Gary Fevurly (LHS Class of 1980)(Wendy) and Steve Fevurly (LHS Class of 1992), and grandson; Derek Fevurly all of Leavenworth. She is also survived by her sister; Elizabeth Gadow (LHS Class of 1957)(George) of Leavenworth and brothers; James Shore (LHS Class of 1972)(Thelma) of Leavenworth and John (Jane) Shore of Columbia, South Carolina.
Visitation is Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 8:30 to 10:30am with services directly following at 10:30am at Davis Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Lansing, Kansas.

Larry V. Fevurly, 71, Leavenworth passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at his home surrounded by family.
Larry was born October 14, 1939 in Leavenworth the son of James Leroy and
Opal Rose (Asbury) Fevurly.
Survivors include two sons Gary (Wendy) Fevurly and Steve (Tracey) Fevurly
both of Leavenworth, four grandchildren Derek Fevurly, Matthew, William and Kathryn Smith, five great grandchildren, one sister Pearl (Kenny) McEvoy and ex wife Mary Fevurly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother James Leroy.
Larry retired from Hallmark Cards after 38 years of service.
He was an avid collector of farm tractors and enjoyed going to tractor
shows.
He served in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard from 1959 to 1966.
He was a lifetime member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #55.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, December 10,
2010 at the Davis Funeral Chapel.  Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at the Davis Funeral Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Society.
