Marian Jean (Moore) Vornholt, 84, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016, in Detroit Lakes, MN at Saint Mary’s Hospital. She was born in Leavenworth, Kansas, February 11, 1932. Marian is survived by her three children, Kim Vornholt, of Tucson, AZ, Robyn Beck (Bruce) of Detroit Lakes, MN, and John Vornholt of New London, MN; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Vornholt (LHS Class of 1948) and her parents, John and Mary Moore.
Marian was a long time sales associate at Dayton’s Department Store at West Acres Shopping Center in Fargo, ND.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society of the Lakes in Detroit Lakes, MN.
Funeral service will be 1:30 PM, Friday, July 1, 2016 at Davis Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Mount Muncie Cemetery.
