Bob Beall - LHS Class of 1950

Robert D. Beall Sr, 83 of Leavenworth, passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 at Twin Oaks Health and Rehab. Center. He was born in Leavenworth, KS on Aug 3, 1933 to Thomas D. Beall and Antoinette Kurek. 
Bob, who was the City Attorney for Leavenworth, Kansas for over 30 years, was preceded in death by his wife, Linda K. Beall and his brother Joseph Beall. 
He is survived by his wife, Carol M. Beall, four children: Robert D. Beall Jr. (Carol) of Lansing, KS, Thomas E. Beall (Andrea) of Topeka, KS, Jane Krista Beckwith (Chris) of Tulsa, OK, and Jonathan D Beall (Heather) of Shawnee, KS, four step-children: Katherine Simmons of Lawrence, KS, Kimberly Anderson (Tim) of Lansing, KS. F. Samuel Minnich Jr., of Lansing, KS and Martin M. Minnich (Ashley) of Arroyo Grande, CA. He also leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. 
A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held on Oct. 15, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Leavenworth, KS with Pastor Tim Soule officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made for Alzheimer’s Research, Wayside Waifs in Kansas City, MO., or to First Presbyterian Church. Arrangements entrusted to Davis Funeral Chapel.
