Roland Hattock - Lansing HS Class of 1955

Roland L. Hattock, 78 of Lansing, Kansas passed away at his residence on September 19th, 2016 surrounded by his family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Friday, September 23, 2016 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, with Father Matthew Habiger officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with the family present from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Belden Larkin Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Lansing, Kansas.
Roland was born June 9, 1938 in Leavenworth, Kansas the son of Frank and Beatrice (Marchefski) Hattock, Sr. He graduated from Lansing High School in 1955 and then attended some college.
He married Joyce Webb August 8, 1959 in Atchison, Kansas.
Roland worked as a bricklayer for Alpha Masonry, Inc. for over 32 years as a foreman, and then a general superintendent. He retired after 35 years as a member of the local 15 KCMO.
Roland enjoyed farming and raising cattle. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the casino’s, playing cards and spending time with family. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. 
He is survived by his wife, three daughters; Rhonda Brethorst of California, Missouri, Sandra Hattock of Leavenworth, Kansas, and Debbie Aaron and her husband Paul of Lansing, Kansas, one son; Gary Hattock of Raymore, one brother; Frank Hattock, Jr and his wife Verta of Punta Gorda, Floriday, one sister; Linda Kendrick and her husband Jerry of Tonganoxie, Kansas, one step brother; Rusty Stearns and his wife Barbara of Caldwell, Idaho, three step sisters; Jackie Doughitt of Leavenworth, Kansas, Barbara Millard and her husband Larry of Plano, Texas, and Bonnie Schillings and her husband Dale of Ozawkie, Kansas, eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step mother; Naomi Hattock, and one great grandson; Jasper Brethorst.
