Charles Rush - Oskaloosa HS Class of 1951

Charles Fredrick Rush, 84, of Leavenworth, KS. Died April 25, 2017 at his home in Leavenworth. He was born April 15, 1933, the son of Ralph and Bertha Cureton Rush. 
He was a 1951 graduate of Oskaloosa High School in Oskaloosa, KS. He served in the United States Army 1955-1957, receiving an honorable discharge. He worked at the Lansing Correctional Facility in Lansing, KS from 1957 to his retirement in 1986. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Arie #55 in Leavenworth, KS. 
Survivors include his companion of many years, Cherie Huff, of the home. One son Michael Rush, Horton, KS., two daughters, Vicky Cadue, Versailles, MO., and Carol Rush, Leavenworth. One Brother, Lonnie Rush, Topeka, and one sister Maydean Fraker, Winchester. 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and two step grandchildren.
