Georgeann Teets Gaver Kreutzer - IMAC HS Class of 1953

Georgeann Gaver Kreutzer peacefully left this earth surrounded by family on Saturday May 30, 2020. Georgeann was born May 18, 1936 in Leavenworth, Kansas to George and Romayne Teets. She had a beloved older sister Mary (Sister Mary Jacinta SCl) . They have all preceded her in death. 

Georgeann attended Immaculata High School, and married Glenn Gaver (LHS Class of 1951), July 10, 1953.  Georgeann spoiled Glenn as they raised three daughters Leah (Maxwell), Jean (Reynolds) and Sussanna (Daniel). Glenn preceded her in death in 1997. 

Georgeann was a working mom, spending her career as a switchboard operator working at Fort Leavenworth, The Veterans Administration and retiring from The Federal Bureau of Prisons in 1991. She was amazing at her job able to recognize a voice she might only hear once a year. Her voice was always reassuring and helpful. 

She enjoyed her grandchildren; Sam, Heather, Stacey, Marc, Michael Jon, Michael, Hillary, Donovan and Jessica. There when they needed her and always giving of a lipstick print on the cheek. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren; Skye, Delaney, Ava, Deacon, Camden, Sammy and Hunter and her special extras Sarah, Celeste, Cailynn and Cara. 

Georgeann was blessed to have found love again and in 1999 married John Dale Kreutzer. She and Dale spent 20 wonderful years together. 

Memorial contributions may be given to Catholic Charities of NE Kansas. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 8, 2020 from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Memorial service will be held on Monday, June 8, 2020 at 5 P.M. at Davis Funeral Chapel. Burial will be held at a later date at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
