Patty Floray Greenhagen, of Leavenworth, died on June 25, 2012, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. She was born in Red Fork, Okla., on February 28, 1931, to Alvin P. and Rokie Marie Wilson Floray.
She was predeceased by her parents and is survived by her loving family: brothers Alvan (Norma) and Ronald (LHS Class of 1956)(Myrna); children Michael Hoover, Elizabeth (Craig) Nathanson, Lewis (Charlotte) Greenhagen, and Linda Sayre; grandchildren Jacob Fink, Bria Nathanson, Richard Greenhagen, Andru Langley, Zachary Langley, Jordan Greenhagen, Brett Sayre, and Ryan Sayre; nieces Connie Floray, Linda (Mike) Godsil, and Jennifer (Bruce) Balke; and nephews David Floray, Steven (Wendy) Floray, and Russell Buchanan.
Patty was extremely devoted to her family, friends, and pets; she enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them. She was a life-long member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Leavenworth.
Patty was a licensed practical nurse at both Providence and Liberty Hospitals until her retirement.
Visitation will be at Davis Funeral Chapel on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. A celebration of life service for Patty will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, Sixth and Osage Streets, on Friday at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Mount Muncie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Trinity United Methodist Church or the Leavenworth County Humane Society. Arrangements are entrusted to the Davis Funeral Chapel.
