Delores Streit Wagner - LHS Class of 1949

Delores Michael Wagner departed in peace on Thursday, October 25, 2012 after 81 years of fully embracing the tumult and joys of life and family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Clifford, in 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa; her sons, Michael (wife Erin) and David (wife Tina); grandchildren, Jessica and Alex; and sister Betty Burke (LHS Class of 1952).
Dee’s passion for art and wonder at nature were eclipsed only by her unfailing love for her family. Quick to laugh, even quicker to hug, she helped us all through our troubles. A truer light has never walked upon this Earth; she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. 
Her life will be celebrated with a Rosary to be recited on Friday, November 16, 2012, 8:15 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 a.m., at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph Drive NW. 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org be made in honor of Dee.
