Mary Cowing Rich - LHS Class of 1958

Mary Louise Rich, 75, passed away with family members by her side Sunday, February 14, 2016.
Mary graduated in 1958 from Leavenworth High School, married Elmer Rich, and later retired from the Leavenworth School District.
Survivors include sons, David (Barbara) Rich, Raytown, Mo. and Jim Rich, Leavenworth, Ks.; daughters, Terese (Randall) Mountjoy, Ozark, Al. and Shari (Mitch Boyle) Rich, Leavenworth, Ks.; brother, Robert Cowing (LHS class of 1964), Gardner, Ks.; sisters, Cora (Joe) Thoos, Atchison, Ks., and Josephine (Gary) Olson, Leavenworth, Ks.; six grandchildren, and others.
Mary was preceded in death by father, Fred Cowing; mother, Cora Cowing Kraft; brother, Fred Cowing; son, Michael Rich; and great-granddaughter Havien Moppin.
Family visitation is Saturday, February 20, at 1:00 PM and Memorial Service at 2:00 PM, Officiated by Pastor Mike Tosspon, at Davis Funeral Chapel, 531 Shawnee St., Leavenworth, Ks.  A "Celebration of Life" located at The Cafe, 1102 N. 2nd St., Leavenworth, Ks. (The Abernathy Building) immediately following services.
