Terrelene “Terri” Schuler (Striegel) passed away at the Pioneer Ridge Retirement Community on November 24, 2017 in Lawrence, Kansas at the age of 76.
Terri is survived by her husband Gary Schuler; sons Mark Schuler, Phillip Schuler and Kirk Schuler and siblings James Sloan, Janice Carpenter and William Sloan.
She is preceded in death by her parents Stephen Striegel and Betty Sloan; sibling Joyce Watkins and son Craig Schuler.
Terri was born on June 22, 1941, graduated from Easton High School in 1959, married Gary Schuler in 1962, settled in Nortonville, Kansas and raised four sons. Terri worked for many years as a Medical Transcriptionist and she is remembered as an intelligent, loving and uncompromising mother who instilled traditional values in her sons. She was a member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and was active in local politics.
