Bob was born March 12, 1940 in Independence, Missouri to Wilbur and Avanell (Burns) McBroom.
He graduated from Jarbalo High School in 1958 and married Ann E. Monderow on September 15, 1962. She survives at the home.
Bob served in the United States Air Force. He worked at Bay State Milling Company and retired from Rural Water District No. 9.
He was a game chicken handler, an avid hunter and a ham radio operator.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James McBroom.
Survivors include brother, Gary McBroom; daughter, Deb McBroom; son, Mike McBroom (Susan), son-in-law, Jim Monahan; grandsons, Levi Monahan and Reed and Thorpe McBroom.
