Earl Snodgrass - LHS Class of 1955

Earl R. Snodgrass, MD, born August 22, 1937 passed away December 24, 2004, in Tucson, Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Anne Y. Snodgrass; three sons: Thomas William Snodgrass, San Jose, California; Alan Edward Snodgrass, wife, Cindy Marie, and granddaughter, Kathryn Marie, age 6, Portland, Oregon; Earl Robert Snodgrass and wife Monica; a brother Eric Christopher Snodgrass (LHS Class of 1962) and wife Kay.
Earl attended the U.S. Naval Academy then graduated from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland in 1959. He graduated from Johns Hopkins Medical School in Baltimore in 1964. Between his sophomore and junior year in medical school he did research at the School of Tropical Medicine, Calcutta, India. He served in The U.S. Navy in Japan as a medical officer and was discharged as Lt. Commander in December 1969.
After completing an Orthopaedic Residency at Los Angeles Orthopedic Hospital, Los Angeles, California, he practiced general Orthopedics in Pasadena, California until retirement in 1998. He then settled in Tucson, Arizona.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of his life will be in Tucson. Arrangements by Bring's Broadway Chapel.
