It must be in the genes . . .

Friday afternoon, Lonnie Dougherty reflected on his family, not long before four of his six children were honored as part of Leavenworth High School’s Top 100 athletes in a ceremony at LHS. His two daughters were part of the school’s first Hall of Fame class.
The Doughertys aren’t the only family well-represented on the Top 100 list. Herman Rathman, a 1960 graduate, was a Hall of Fame inductee, while his sons Blaine and Stuart were Top 100 picks. Several sets of siblings were also honored — Pat and Jackie Baldwin, Durand and Rick Dickerson, Angel and April Heath, Adrian and Curby Rogers, Bill and Ron Swartz and Lesley and Lindsay Weaverling.
