Top 100 Athletes & Hall of Fame of LHS

On Friday, January 27, 2006, in the main gym of Leavenworth High School, the LHS Alumni Association will host its first Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and recognition of the Top 100 Athletes.  The Association took on the task last year of establishing an Alumni Hall of Fame.  
Each year the Association will look at a discipline or professional area from which to choose inductees who have had outstanding accomplishments in that area.  
This year the Association has selected the Top 100 Athletes of LHS from 1905 to 2005.  The purpose was to recognize graduates who have brought recognition to themselves and LHS through outstanding athletic endeavor.  From the list of 100, 18 were chosen to be inducted into the first Hall of Fame.
