Robert Gwartney, Sr., 76, Prairie Village, Kansas, died April 23, 2009. Private graveside services are planned. Bob is survived by his wife of 54 years, Evelyn Hane Gwartney (LHS Class of 1952), son Robert Gwartney, Jr., daughter Ann Lynn Gwartney, granddaughter Monica DeAnn and his brother and sister-in-law, Delbert and Margaret Gwartney.
