Jerold E. “Jerry” Smith, age 73, passed away on June 17, 2010, in Saint Johns, Florida.Jerry was born on September 6, 1936 in Leavenworth, Kansas, and moved to Saint Johns in 2006.
Immediately following High School Jerry entered into the U.S. Air Force. After 26 years of military service Jerry retired as Sgt. Major from the Army Reserves.
Jerry leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 53 years, Phyllis Smith of Saint Johns; son, Mike (Shelly) Smith, of Raymore, MO; daughters, Jessica (Ralph) Westphal of Saint Johns, Crystal (J.R.) Smith of Easton, KS; sister, Joyce A. Smith of Edwardsville, KS; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the Davis Funeral Chapel .
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the Davis Funeral Chapel.
