Kathleen H. Maupin, Leavenworth, 77, passed away Monday June 21, 2010. Kathleen was born March 5, 1933 at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., the daughter of Harry and Elnora (Beetner) Maupin.
She graduated from Leavenworth High School.
She worked for the F.A.A. and retired from Fort Leavenworth after many years as Secretary to Chaplain Services. She was a member of First Christian Church and Calvary Baptist Church.
She had a passion for traveling and traveled around the world several times.
Kathleen is survived by sister Karleen Landis (LHS Class of 1947) and husband Dr. William Landis, nephew Mark Landis, niece Pamela LaFontaine and family John Paul, Nicole and Michelle, numerous cousins and friends.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 16, 2010 at the Davis Funeral Chapel.
