Clovis Melva Swokowski went to be with her Lord on May 31, 2011.  She has resided in York, S.C. for the last two years of her life with her daughter Kathy and son-in-law, Henry Burrow.
Clovis was born May 11, 1931 in Leavenworth, Kansas, the daughter of Howard L. and Bertha May Smart Jones.

She was preceded in death by her father, Howard L. Jones and her sister, Gloria Kay Day.
A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Green Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road in Rock Hill, S.C. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2011, at Fortress of Faith Christian Fellowship in Leavenworth, Kansas.
