Marian Henshaw Ketterman - LHS Class of 1953

Marian L. Ketterman was born January 1, 1935, in Leavenworth, Kansas, the daughter of Mamie (Appler) and Ross Henshaw.  She passed away on Friday, May 13, 2011, in Dallas, Texas, at age 76.  Marian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who loved doing things for others and especially decorating for her family and for the holidays.  She was an avid gardener who enjoyed working in the yard and keeping beautiful flowers.  She is predeceased by her grandson, Jay Saunders, in 2007.  Marian is survived by her husband of 57 years, Wilbur "Will" Ketterman (LHS Class of 1949); sons, David Ketterman and Glenn Ketterman and his wife Laurie; duaghter, Roxanne Marrs and her husband Sid; grandson, Josh Ketterman and wife Becky; great-grandson, Weston; adopted daughter, Jodi Jennings; brothers, John Henshaw and Bob Henshaw; sister, Katie Price (LHS Class of 1954); and 19 nieces and nephews.  Funeral services are 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 17, 2011, in the Small Chapel of the First United Methodist Church, 206 W. Daniel St., in Duncanville, Texas, 75116.  Burial will follow in Little Bethel Memorial Park in Duncanville.  Visitation with the family is 7-9 pm, Monday, May 16, also in the Small Chapel.  The family requests memorial donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
