Juanita R. Forge, 77, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, was born on April 28, 1934. Devoted to her family and faith, she passed from this life on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at home surrounded by family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Leona (Hundley) Kemmerle; and sister, Cherrelyn Kemmerle.
She met her husband of 60 years, Edward Joseph Forge, and they were married on May 19, 1951, in Leavenworth. He survives at the home. She is also survived by her three children, Steve Forge and his wife, Paula of Lansing, Vicki Wells and her husband, Eric of Leavenworth and Misty Bull and her husband, Richard of Leavenworth. She leaves behind seven grandchildren, Jason (Rhonda), Lauren, Justin (Lisa), Garrett, Evan, Jake and Sam; five great-grandchildren, Kamari, Luke, Pierce, Jackson, and Ethan; her brother, Chester "Chet" Kemmerle and his wife, Joyce of Omaha, Neb.; and several nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed many hobbies in life including ceramics, putting together puzzles, watching soap operas and cooking. She was known for her beautiful smile, warm heart and love for her grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2011 at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home, friends may call after 2 p.m. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Trinity Lutheran Church officiated by Pastor Jim Jobst. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church or Crossroads Hospice.
