Lois Ann McRill, Leavenworth, passed away June 5, 2011 at her home with her family by her side.
Lois, born November 21, 1931 in Leavenworth to Lowell K. and Katheline (Gifford) Riddle.
A graduate of Leavenworth High School, Lois remained an active member of the Class of '49.
She married Col. Billy I. McRill September 1, 1951. He preceded her in death in 1977. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Tip Kirkpatrick (LHS Class of 1934) and Herb Kirkpatrick.
Lois is survived by two daughters, Linda (& Steve) Pratt and Carrie McRill, one son Clinton McRill, one brother Bob Riddle, one sister Jean McMillian (LHS Class of 1938), five grandchildren; Jeremy (& Tricia) Workman, Justin (& Eron King) Workman, Jesica Pratt, Jordan Pratt and York McRill Olszewski, and four great grandchildren; Rowan and Tobbe Waking, Dani and Lauren Workman.
Lois enjoyed bowling, bridge, travel, friends and family. She was, in her own words an; "Army brat, Army wife, Army widow."
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 P.M. Friday, June 17, 2011 at the Davis Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Ft. Leavenworth National Cemetery.
