Arnold Treat

Arnold E. Treat, 77, of Leavenworth, died, Monday, March 4, 2013, at Medicalodge. Arnold was born Oct. 28, 1935, in Kickapoo, Kan., the son of William and Gladys (Alma) Treat.
He worked as a firefighter. Arnold retired from Gould National Battery Factory and most recently retired from Cushing Hospital after 8 years.
Arnold is survived by four daughters, Rose (Norm) Solhiem, Carol (Eugene) Jackson, Anna (Steve) Hughes, and Peggy (Ron) Pollick; two sons, Steven (Tammy) Treat and Don (Angela) Hill; one brother, Junior Treat; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Helen O. Deeter (LHS Class of 1951), his parents, two brothers, and a sister.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Muncie Cemetery.

Helen O. Treat was born on November 10, 1933 and died on June 11, 2005 at the age of 71. She is survived by her husband Arnold E. Treat and children.  Helen last resided in Leavenworth, Kansas. Buried at Mount Muncie Cemetery in Lansing, Kansas.
