Ron and Barbara were owner/operators of Foster Cabinets for 48 years. They enjoyed fishing in their pond and traveled extensively over the years. Ron was a member of the FOE #55 for over 20 years.
Ron is survived by his children, Linda Schlickelman, Terrie Foster-Mingo (Paris), and Mark Foster (Liz); his brother-in-law Richard Rhudy (Dona Jean) of Tennessee; grandchildren Danny, Tiffany, and Adrian; 9 great grandchildren; many wonderful nieces and nephews; numerous good friends; and special friends of 40 years Mike Wilcox and Nick Schmidt.
Ron was in the Navy from May 1951 to May 1955, stationed on the USS Kearsarge as a Turbine Engineer. He was very proud of his Navy service and participated in many Veteran’s Day Parades, riding in Peri’s famous Red Buick.
Visitation will be at Davis Funeral Chapel Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 4 to 7 pm, with a memorial service at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the VA Geriatrics Clinic, Bldg 122.

Barbara Ann Foster, 76, of Leavenworth, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2008, after a short battle with cancer. Barbara was born June 1, 1932 to Delbert and Genevieve Davenport Rhudy. She married Ronald Foster in March of 1952. They had 3 children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Dean Rhudy (LHS Class of 1947), her sister Donna Rhudy Rogers (LHS Class of 1948) and brother-in-law Dick Rogers.
Barbara was a lifelong resident of Leavenworth. She and Ron were owner/operators of Foster Cabinets for 48 years. She was an active member of the Midway Chapter of ABWA for over 30 years. Barbara loved her plants and flowers. She was an avid gardener which showed in the beautifully landscaped flower gardens at her home. She and Ron enjoyed fishing in their pond and had traveled extensively over the years.
