Beatrice Redmon Rush - LHS Class of 1955

Beatrice Alberta Rush, 78, of Overland Park, Kansas died, Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at her home.
She was born Dec. 7, 1937, the daughter of Albert Leo and Lola Beatrice (Osborne) Redmon.
On Aug. 31, 1958, Beatrice married Robert Lee Rush in Leavenworth, Kansas. He survives at the home. She is also survived by four daughters, Kimberley Torres, Sheri (Keith) Geary, Brenda Monk and Cindy (Brian) Collins; three siblings, Roberta, Debra Sue and Ron; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and her dog, Peaches.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Beatrice was a dedicated nurse for many years and later became an educator of nursing. 
She loved helping people. She also enjoyed scrapbooking and reading mystery books.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home.
