She was born January 18, 1931 the daughter of George and Ida (Borchart) Schwinn. On July 11, 1982 she married Robert J. Seute at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Leavenworth.
Miriam leaves behind her husband Robert to whom she was married for 34 years; nephew David Schwinn, Leavenworth; sister-in-law Ruth Seute Hibbs and husband Morris; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Walter Schwinn (LHS Class of 1939) and his wife Leona and one nephew Harold.
Miriam was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church, graduated from St. Paul Lutheran School and graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1949.
She worked at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas for 24 years as a transportation clerk, retiring in 1988.
Miriam was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Easton, Kansas and was very active in the Ladies Aid.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 P.M. Tuesday, November 29,2016 at the Davis Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held 11. A.M. Wednesday, November, 30, 2016 at St. John Lutheran Church, Easton, Kansas. Burial will follow in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. John Lutheran Church or St. Paul Lutheran Church.
