Kay Cordill Ketter - LHS Class of 1953

KaDel Ketter, 82, of Leavenworth, passed away on Tuesday, January, 10, 2017.
KaDel was born September 4, 1934 in Corning, Kansas, the daughter of Clarence Eugene and Veda M. Bybee.
She married Robert W. Ketter (LHS Class of 1950), on August 13, 1955 in Leavenworth, Kansas; he preceded her in death on June 7, 2015.
KaDel was a lifelong homemaker, and enjoyed reading, spending time with her sons, and watching Wheel of Fortune.
She is survived by her two sons Robert Ketter, Jr and Scott Ketter both of Leavenworth and preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Charlene Ketter.
Visitation will be at Belden-Larkin Funeral Home on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. followed by funeral services at 2 p.m.  Burial will be at Mount Muncie Cemetery.

Robert W. Ketter, 83 of Leavenworth, Kansas passed away June 7, 2015 at a Lansing Nursing Home.
Bob was born February 11, 1932 in Leavenworth, the son of William and Josephine F. (Nowowiejski) Ketter.
He graduated from high school in 1950 and entered the United States Army in 1953.
Bob married KaDel Cordill (LHS Class of 1953) on August 13, 1955 in Leavenworth.
He worked in maintenance at Fort Leavenworth retiring after 31 years.
Bob loved all sports, including football, and especially KU basketball. 
He is survived by his wife, two sons; Robert W. Ketter, Jr, and Scott A. Ketter all of Leavenworth, one sister; Ella M. Biczak of Leavenworth. He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Charlene Ketter, and two sisters; Anna Derzinksi and Eva Conway.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, June 12, 2015 at Belden-Larkin Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Self officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with the family present from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Muncie Cemetery.
