Juanita Farrar, 78, of Leavenworth, Kansas passed away March 7, 2016.Juanita was born January 24, 1938 in Rose City, Arkansas, the daughter of Lester and Evelyn Farrar.
She was a life long resident of Leavenworth, graduating from Leavenworth High School in 1956. She was a 33 year employee with the Department of Defense at Fort Leavenworth.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents David and Evelyn Cline, and a son, David Albert.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph Albert, Leavenworth, and James Albert (Elizabeth), Oak Grove, Missouri; a daughter, Susan Lewis (Mark), Bonner Springs, Kansas; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Juanita was very vocal, strong and smart. She will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2016 at Davis Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Mount Muncie Cemetery.
