William Donald Langham passed away peacefully at home the morning of February 18, 2018.
He was born in Leavenworth, Kansas, on October 6, 1941 to William Langham and Helen Louise (Hall) Langham.
Don graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1959, then joined the U.S. Navy serving on the aircraft carrier BonHomme Richard til 1965.
On June 5, 1965, he married Janice K. Berg. A loving and devoted father, he made sure his wife and two daughters were always loved and cared for, and happy.
Don had several jobs in his life, but retired after many years as a machinist from the Great Western Manufacturing Company in 2008.
He is survived by his wife Janice, two daughters Deborah Kaye Cox (Mark), and Cheryl Lynn Langham (Chris), four grandchildren, Wayne Logan (Sydney), Ian Cox, Ben Kowalewski (Carissa), Amy Cox, and two great-grandchildren Harper Jane Logan and Oliver Myles Kowalewski.
Don is also survived by his stepmother Winifred Langham, brother Tom Langham, sister Clara Langham and sister Christina Phillips (Ron).
Thoughts of Don will always bring smiles to family, his many friends and co-workers.
Memorials in his honor can be made to benefit A Ride for the Wounded, through the local Eagles Club FOE #55, Leavenworth, Kansas. Visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 12 to 2 p.m.. Burial will follow at Mount Muncie Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Davis Funeral Chapel.
