Charles Milton Hall passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018. He was born to Carl F. Hall and Bernice Edmonds Hall on February 3, 1934 in Leavenworth, Kansas.
He attended schools in Leavenworth and graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1952. After graduation he joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Japan. He worked in the office of the Santa Fe Railroad and Gould Battery Company, retiring as plant superintendent.
He married Joan Poell (LHS Class of 1956) on January 25, 1958. They had five children, Steven Hall (deceased), Michael Hall, Beth Hall, Nicholas Hall (Kharreim), and Pamela Hall (Rob Denney). He has 7 grandchildren and is also survived by his sister Katherine Kohler (LHS Class of 1951), Lansing, KS and several nieces and nephews.
Charlie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be remembered fondly as being able to fix or build anything and being the family animal whisperer.
Visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent’s Clinic or Leavenworth County Humane Society. Condolences may be left in Charlie’s online Guestbook.
