He left this earth Friday, July 10, 2009 to join the love of his life, Edie Jochims Henrichsen (LHS Class of 1952), his wife of 43 years.
Joe was a devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be greatly missed.
He graduated from John Marshall High School in Oklahoma City and was a graduate of Oklahoma State University where he was a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity.
Joe was a 32nd Degree Mason and served in the in the Army. He was an Accountant for Amoco Corp. and retired after 31 years.
He was a member of the Jenks United Methodist Church.
Joe is survived by his 3 sons and their families; Todd of Tulsa, OK, Scot and his wife Nancy, of Elk City, OK and Brent and his wife Mary of Edmond, OK; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer, Denny and Grace; and 3 great grandchildren, Alex, Alivia and Catch. He is also survived by a sister, Ann Jackson and her husband Dennis of Bristow, OK.
Services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 14, at the Jenks United Methodist Church. Interment will be at 3:00 pm El Reno Cemetery, El Reno, OK. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Jenks United Methodist Church Memorial Foundation, 415 E. Main, Jenks, OK 74037 or to Good Shepherd Hospice, 6218 South Lewis, Ste. 1110,Tulsa, OK 74136.

Edith "Edie" Diane Henrichsen, age 65, passed away at her home in Tulsa, OK on August 20, 1999.
She was born August 11, 1934 to Calvin and Rofena Jochims in Leavenworth, KS.
Edie was a devoted wife and mother and will be greatly missed. She was a graduate of the University of Kansas with an English degree and a member of Alpha Delta Pi. She taught school in Baltimore, MD, volunteered at Restore Hope Ministries, sang with the Sweet Adelines and was a member of the Jenks United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Joe; 3 sons, Todd of Broken Arrow, OK, Scot and his wife, Nancy of Elk City, OK and Brent of Edmond, OK; and 2 grandchildren, Jennifer and Denny.
Service will be at 10 a.m., Monday at the Jenks United Methodist Church. Interment will be at El Reno Cemetery, El Reno, OK.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jenks United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 415 E. Main, Jenks, OK 74037 (United Methodist Boys Ranch, United Methodist Children's Home and St. Francis Hospice.)
